Principles

The test-it EHRLICHIA DOG is designed for the detection of Ehrlichia canis antibodies in canine whole blood, serum or plasma. After being absorbed into the cellulose pad, the Ehrlichia canis antibodies move and bind with gold-colloid complex of Ehrlichia canis antigen of the conjugate pad, forming antigen-antibody complex. This complex, then, forms antigen-antibody-antigene direct sandwich binding with antigen of Ehrlichia canis in the nitrocellulose membrane. The test results are shown on Control line (C) and Test line (T) by means of the principles of immunochromatography.
