DIETETIC COMPLEMENTARY FEED for dogs and cats

During periods of and recovery from acute diarrhoea.
Particular nutritional purpose: reduction of acute intestinal absorptive disorders.

Properties:

DIA DOG ‘N CAT® contains:

  • Increased level of electrolytes and highly digestible ingredients.
  • A protector of the intestinal mucosa to limit the loss in water and in electrolytes.
  • Glucose as source of energy.

Use:

DIA DOG ‘N CAT® is advised:

  • To reduce the disorders of the intestinal resorption in case of acute diarrhoea.
  • To compensate the loss in electrolytes and in nutrients after a period of diarrhoea.

DIA DOG ‘N CAT® can also be used in gestating or lactating animals.

Instructions for use:

Offer directly the palatable tablet or crush it and mix it in the feed.

  • Puppy and dog up to 10 kg bodyweight: 1/2 tablet, twice a day.
  • Dog between 10 and 20 kg bodyweight: 1 tablet, twice a day.
  • Dog of more than 20 kg bodyweight: 1.5 tablets, twice a day.
  • Cat up to 3 kg bodyweight: 1/2 tablet, once a day.
  • Cat of more than 3 kg bodyweight: 1/2 tablet, twice a day.

Usual use is of 3-4 days, and can be prolonged up to 2 weeks. During the entire use of DIA DOG ‘N CAT®, constantly have fresh water at disposal.

Composition:

Processed animal protein (poultry liver meal), dextrose*, apple pulp (dried) 17.8%, pectin, sodium chloride, rice flour*, citrus pulp (dried) 2.7%, psyllium seed husks, yeasts*, sodium bicarbonate, potassium chloride and whole
egg powder.
* Easily digestible carbohydrates.

Analytical constituents:

Crude protein 17.0 %, crude oils and fats 5.6 %, crude fibre 5.5 % and crude ash 13.2 %: sodium 1.9 % and potassium 1.2 %.

Additives:

Technological additives: montmorillonite - illite (1g557) 40,000 mg/kg.

Energy: ME-Dog: 62 kJ / tablet. ME-Cat: 63.5 kJ / tablet.

Storage:

Store in a dry place, at ambient temperature, in the original packaging. Best before: see box.

Precautions:

It is recommended that advice from your veterinarian be sought before use. If no improvement were noticed after 2 days, please also seek advice from your veterinarian. Simultaneous use with macrolides should be avoided. Due
to its high content in montmorillonite - illite, DIA DOG ‘N CAT® mustn’t exceed 6 tablets (cats) and 10 tablets (dogs) per days. Keep out of reach of children.

Packaging:

Boxes with 60 divisible chewable tablets of 5 g, in individual pouches.
